WARM BAMBOO MASSAGE
This deep, yet relaxing, massage sees the bamboo cane replace my hands. I hold canes of varying diameter and length, using them in rolling and kneading movements.
Similar to hot stone massage, it works very depply into the muscles and adds another dimension to your treatment. It gives fans of deep tissye massage added warmth to ease the tension and stress - that we always seem to have these days! - from your muscles. Warm bamboo massage is still and emerging therapy in the UK and Ireland, but I believe it is becoming increasingly popular.
Interesting fact: in the Orient, bamboo - an evergreen plant part of the grass family - symbolises strength, fertility, youth, prosperity and peace.
