CANCELLATION, Refund & Deposit Policy - Emerald Therapies

At Emerald Therapies, we are committed to providing our clients with exceptional services and a seamless experience.

We are very busy and often have waiting lists for appointments, so please act with consideration by giving us much notice as possible should you need to change your booking.

To ensure clarity and transparency regarding our refund and deposit policy, please read the following guidelines:

Reminder: To keep everyone safe and covered by insurance, please ensure all forms are completed and you attend the correct venue. Deposits are non-refundable if booking steps aren't followed. Thank you for understanding.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposits start from €30 and vary depending on the length, type and location of your treatment.

The applicable deposit will be clearly shown when you make your booking.

We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours' notice.

With 48 hours' notice or more, your deposit will be transferred to a credit which can be used towards another appointment within 90 days.

Your deposit may be transferred to a new appointment once. If the rescheduled appointment is subsequently cancelled or rescheduled, the original deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours' notice, and appointments which are not attended, will result in the loss of your deposit.

Clients who repeatedly cancel, reschedule or fail to attend appointments may be required to pay for future appointments in full at the time of booking.

We understand that genuine emergencies can happen and exceptional circumstances may be considered at our discretion.

Late arrival

If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our utmost to still provide your full allocated appointment time. However, this will not always possible due to other bookings. However, if you are running late, please ring ahead and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Full treatment price is payable even on late arrival. Our time is valuable and by booking our Therapist for a set time you have agreed to pay the fee for that booking even if your treatment time is reduced by your late arrival.

If we are running late, we will always still give you the full duration of your booking. If you are unable to stay any later to complete the duration, your price will be adjusted, and any missed treatment time will be added to your next session free of charge.

Credit Usage

Credits issued following an eligible cancellation or rescheduling can be redeemed against any of our services within 90 days from the date of issue. After this period, any unused credit will expire and cannot be refunded, extended or transferred.

Late cancellations and no-shows have a direct impact on our business, as appointment times are reserved specifically for each client and may also involve therapist costs, room hire and travel expenses. We completely understand that plans can change, which is why we ask for at least 48 hours' notice. With sufficient notice, we have the opportunity to offer your appointment to another client who may be waiting for availability.

Exceptions

In exceptional cases, such as documented emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, we may review and consider refund requests made outside of our standard policy. Decisions will be made at the discretion of Emerald Therapies.

Booking & Rescheduling

To make changes to your appointment, please contact us at jane@emeraldmassagetherapies.com or 0873965469 during our regular business hours. We will be happy to assist you with rescheduling or addressing any questions or concerns.

By booking an appointment with Emerald Therapies, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Refund & Deposit Policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of our services.

OUR PROMISE TO YOU

On rare occasions, illness or unforeseen circumstances may mean that we need to change or cancel your appointment. If this happens, we will give you as much notice as reasonably possible.

If Emerald Therapies needs to cancel your appointment, you will be offered the option to reschedule your appointment or receive a full refund of any amount you have paid. No processing or administration fees will be deducted where the cancellation is made by Emerald Therapies.

Client Declaration: I declare that the information is correct and to the best of my knowledge I can under take treatments without any adverse affect. I have been fully informed about contra-indications and am therefore willing to proceed with treatment. I also understand the cancellation policy as on the Emerald Therapies website and/or on my confirmation letter.

Any information given will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Refund Policy for Booking Errors

At Emerald Therapies, we understand that mistakes can occasionally happen when making an appointment. Please take care to double-check your booking details (treatment, time and location) before confirming, as this helps us keep the diary running smoothly for everyone.

If you make a booking in error (for example, by selecting the wrong treatment, location or time) and Emerald Therapies agrees to issue a refund, please note the following:

The refund will be processed back to the original payment method.
Any non-refundable card processing fees incurred by Emerald Therapies in processing your original payment and refund may be deducted from the amount returned to you.
The remaining balance will then be refunded to you.

This deduction applies only to refunds requested as a result of a customer booking error. It does not apply where Emerald Therapies cancels an appointment and a refund is due.
