CANCELLATION, Refund & Deposit Policy - Emerald Therapies

At Emerald Therapies, we are committed to providing our clients with exceptional services and a seamless experience.

We are very busy and often have waiting lists for appointments, so please act with consideration by giving us much notice as possible should you need to change your booking.

To ensure clarity and transparency regarding our refund and deposit policy, please read the following guidelines:

Deposit Policy

Once a booking has been made by you (the customer), this becomes a contract between you and Emerald Massage Therapy (the Company), thus meaning that the appointment will be attended and paid for.

We understand that on occasion you will be required to re-arrange pre-booked appointments. Cancellation must be received 24 hours prior to any booking made in order for no charge to apply.

To secure your appointment and ensure our therapists' availability, we require a deposit of €20 at the time of booking. The deposit amount may vary based on the services requested and will be communicated to you during the booking process. Deposits can be made through various payment methods, including credit/debit cards or electronic funds transfer, as specified by Emerald Therapies.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours advance notice. This allows us to accommodate other clients who may be on our waiting list.

In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling made within the stipulated time frame, your deposit will be fully refunded in the form of credits that can be applied toward future services with Emerald Therapies.

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment outside the specified time frame or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, your deposit will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued.

Late arrival

If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our utmost to still provide your full allocated appointment time. However, this will not always possible due to other bookings. However, if you are running late, please ring ahead and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Full treatment price is payable even on late arrival. Our time is valuable and by booking our Therapist for a set time you have agreed to pay the fee for that booking even if your treatment time is reduced by your late arrival.

If we are running late, we will always still give you the full duration of your booking. If you are unable to stay any later to complete the duration, your price will be adjusted, and any missed treatment time will be added to your next session free of charge.

Credit Usage

Credits received as a refund can be redeemed for any of our services within 6 months from the date of issue. After this period, any unused credits will expire and cannot be refunded or extended.

Late cancellations and ‘no-shows’ cost our business money. We are required to pay for our therapist’s wages and the cost of either the room hire and/or travel expenses. If you need to cancel or rearrange this is completely understandable but with a little notice, we could allocate another client your booking time - hence why these charges exist.

Exceptions

In exceptional cases, such as documented emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, we may review and consider refund requests made outside of our standard policy. Decisions will be made at the discretion of Emerald Therapies.

By booking an appointment with Emerald Therapies, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Refund & Deposit Policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of our services.

OUR PROMISE TO YOU

On occasion, it may be necessary that we need to change your booking for some reason.

Sometimes, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we may need to change your appointment with short notice. These occasions are rare. If WE need to change your appointment we will give you as much notice as we possibly can.

Client Declaration: I declare that the information is correct and to the best of my knowledge I can under take treatments without any adverse affect. I have been fully informed about contra-indications and am therefore willing to proceed with treatment. I also understand the cancellation policy as on the Emerald Therapies website and/or on my confirmation letter.

Any information given will be treated in the strictest confidence.
